The Spectora integration allows you to seamlessly connect your Spectora inspection platform with your Attik account. This connection enables data synchronization, streamlining your workflow across platforms. While Attik has evolved beyond being just a bolt-on for Spectora, the integration remains a powerful and valuable feature—especially if you continue to use Spectora as part of your operations.

Getting Started

1. Access the Integration Settings

Navigate to the Integrations section in your Attik dashboard.

  • If you do not have an existing Spectora integration, you’ll see a button labeled “Connect”.

  • If you already have an integration connected, the page will display the current configuration, but you can still add additional instances.

2. Add a New Spectora Integration

You can connect multiple Spectora accounts (useful if you manage more than one Spectora company).

To add a new integration:

  1. Click the “Add New Spectora Integration” button.

  2. A configuration window will appear allowing you to connect a Spectora company to your current Attik account.

Integration Methods

There are two components to the integration setup: Webhook Configuration and API Configuration. You can use one or both depending on your needs.

A. Webhook Configuration

Webhooks allow Spectora to push live data into your Attik account as changes occur. This ensures real-time data synchronization.

How to Set Up Webhooks:

  1. In the configuration screen, locate the Webhook Configuration section.

  2. You’ll see a list of Webhook URLs generated by Attik.

  3. Copy each relevant webhook URL and paste it into the corresponding webhook settings inside your Spectora company dashboard.

  4. Each webhook serves a specific purpose (e.g., inspection updates, appointment scheduling, etc.).

  5. Be sure to refer to the [Webhook Setup Video Guide] (link to your second video - coming soon) for step-by-step instructions on mapping each webhook correctly.

Tip: Webhooks are essential for real-time data flow and should be set up carefully.

B. API Configuration

The API connection allows Attik to actively pull or push data from/to Spectora using secure credentials.

How to Set Up API Access:

  1. In Spectora, go to your API Key Management section.

  2. Create a new API key, if you haven’t already.

  3. In Attik, under API Configuration:

    • Paste the API key.

    • Enter your Spectora username and password.

  4. Click Update Connection.

Once configured:

  • You’ll see a confirmation: “Spectora API Connected”.

  • The integration status will show as Active.

Managing Your Integration

Once your Spectora integration is connected:

  • You can add multiple Spectora companies if needed.

  • You can deactivate or reactivate any integration at any time.

  • You can update credentials or webhook URLs as needed via the integration settings page.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure your API key is active and hasn’t expired.

  • Double-check that webhook URLs in Spectora match exactly what’s provided in Attik.

  • If data isn’t syncing, try re-authenticating the API credentials and reviewing webhook logs.
