📘 Start Here First:
Before linking to Spectora, make sure you’ve already reviewed the Required Info Fields (Custom Fields) helpdoc and video. It explains what Required Info Fields are and how they work inside Attik.
Overview
Required Info Fields in Attik can be linked directly to Spectora custom fields. This enables two-way data flow between the platforms:
When an inspection is scheduled in Spectora, its custom field data can be pulled into Attik.
When scheduling in Attik, you can push that same data back into Spectora’s custom fields.
This ensures a smoother handoff between platforms, and allows the use of that data for things like:
Payroll rules and modifiers
Conditional pricing
Field staff guidance during scheduling
How Linking Works
Step 1: Import Custom Fields from Spectora
Go to the Required Info Fields settings page in Attik.
Click the button: “Import from Spectora”.
If your Spectora integration is active, you'll see a list of all your Spectora custom fields.
Select the fields you want to import.
Click Import.
Imported fields will retain their:
Field types (text, dropdowns, checkboxes, etc.)
Dropdown options (where applicable)
Step 2: Review and Confirm the Links
After importing, you'll see that the linked Spectora fields now show a link icon and the name of the corresponding Spectora field.
You can:
Click to view field type (e.g., text, number, select)
Review or edit dropdown options imported from Spectora
If you don’t link a field, that data will still be captured—just in a different way…
What Happens If a Field Isn’t Linked?
If a Spectora custom field isn’t linked to a Required Info Field in Attik:
The data will still come over.
It will be automatically added to the job notes section when the inspection is pushed from Spectora to Attik.
This ensures you never lose information, even if the structure isn’t fully mapped.
Best Practices
Link fields early — before you begin syncing inspections.
Only import the fields that are actively used in your process.
Review the field types and dropdowns for consistency.
By linking fields now, you save your team time, reduce data entry errors, and enable deeper automation for tasks like payroll, routing, and reporting.
