Sync Your Staff With The Spectora Integration
How to easily migrate over your inspectors and office team.

Once you've set up your Spectora integration in Attik, the next critical step is to sync your staff between both platforms. This ensures that inspectors and office staff are correctly matched in both systems for data accuracy, payroll, and scheduling logs.
Why Sync Staff?
When inspections are created or scheduled, it's important that the system knows who performed or scheduled each job. Linking staff ensures:
Accurate payroll assignment based on inspector activity
Proper audit trails showing which office staff booked inspections
Consistent data flow between Spectora and Attik
Important: Staff syncing does not create users. It is a data-level link between team member records in both systems. A USER can log into the platform and has a membership fee, but you can still create employees that dont have the ability to login.
How to Sync Staff from Spectora
1. Access Staff Sync
Go to the Settings area in Attik.
After your Spectora integration is set up, youโll see an option labeled "Sync Spectora Staff" (or similar).
2. Select Spectora Instance
If you have multiple Spectora accounts/instances, you can switch between them using the selector in the sync screen.
3. Review Imported Staff List
Attik will display a list of all inspectors and office team members from the selected Spectora account.
Each row will show:
The person's name and role
A right-hand Action button to either create or link an Attik employee
Linking Staff
Option 1: Create a New Employee in Attik
Click the Action button next to a staff member.
Choose "Create New Employee".
A pop-up will appear to confirm the creation and linking.
Submit to finish linking.
Option 2: Link to an Existing Employee
If you already created the employee in Attik:
Click the Action button next to the staff member.
Choose "Link to Existing Employee".
A pop-up will allow you to search for and select the correct person.
Once linked, the Spectora and Attik records will stay connected.
Best Practices
Sync staff before manually adding too many people into Attik to avoid duplicates.
Link all active inspectors and any office staff involved in scheduling.
Remember: This link is used only for internal data matching and does not impact user logins.
You can also link or adjust connections directly within the Inspectors or Office Staff sections in Attik, but syncing from the integration screen is the most efficient.

Scheduling Logs: Identify who booked a job in the system.
Audit Trails: Track data origin between systems.
