Online scheduler: public flow (clients)
The online scheduler is the client-facing booking experience. It opens from your company’s scheduler link, which includes a secure access token in the URL. Clients move through guided steps, then either Schedule Now or hold a slot and email themselves a quote.

Where to find it
Clients open this flow from your company’s online scheduling link (usually shared on your website, in an email, or by text).
If the link is missing required access details, clients see Invalid Access.
If the link has been altered or is no longer valid, clients see Invalid Token.
Browser tab titles often follow Schedule Online or Schedule Online - [Company name]. The marketing-style description in metadata is: Learn, Quote, & Schedule, All Online!
Step order
The main steps appear in this order:
Services
Clients choose what they want done and see the service selections begin to build their quote details.Property
Clients enter the address and property details so pricing, availability, and rule checks can run correctly.Schedule
Clients pick a date/time option (when available) and choose the appointment timing they prefer.Contact
Clients add their contact details so your team can confirm and communicate about the appointment.Summary
Clients review everything in one place, then choose Schedule Now or use the hold-and-quote option.
You can move between steps using the step indicators when the product allows it; forward moves may require the current step to be complete.
Moving between steps
Next — Advances when the current step passes validation. If something is missing, Next may show a tooltip Complete Required Fields: with a bullet list of missing items.
On the last step before finishing, the header action is Schedule Now (instead of Next) when you are on Summary in the header flow—behavior matches the active step layout.
Summary step actions (bottom bar)
On Summary, the bottom action area includes:
Schedule Now — Completes booking (shows loading/success flows while processing). Disabled when an escape-hatch rule applies or while another action is in progress.
Helper text: Not ready to schedule? with a link:
Hold your slot and send yourself a quote (while idle)
sending... (while the quote send is in progress)
Tapping sections in the summary bar (services, property, schedule, contact) jumps back to the relevant step when allowed.
Drafts and starting over
The product may offer resuming a saved draft or starting over depending on what is stored in the browser and your company’s quote settings. If you use Start Over on an escape-hatch screen, you return to the beginning of the flow (see the escape hatch article).
Caveats and common confusion
The online scheduler is not the same screen as the internal Scheduling Form (
/schedule) staff use; staff workflow is covered in Internal scheduler: required sections and action buttons.Branding (colors, buttons) follows each company’s scheduler styles.
Schedule Now can be disabled when the address, services, or property size trigger an escape hatch—even if the rest of the form looks complete.
Need help?
Clients should contact your office using the phone or email on the escape-hatch or company card.
Staff troubleshooting: capture whether the issue is token (Invalid Access / Invalid Token), a Complete Required Fields tooltip, or an escape-hatch title, and send that to Attik support with the company name.
If automatic booking is blocked (service area, size, or consultation rules), clients see a special screen described in Online scheduler: when booking stops (escape hatch).
