Where to find it
Open a quote from places such as:
Worklists and task workflows that surface quotes
Links from the related job or contact record
The quote row or bar shows status chips, actions, and a menu of follow-up options.
When you use it
Tracking whether a quote is pending, on hold, accepted, rejected, or archived.
Following up after the client has viewed or responded.
Moving a quote back to an earlier state when appropriate.
Status chips and indicators
You may see:
Hold Active — A scheduled hold window is currently in effect.
Hold Expired — The hold period has ended.
Accepted! Scheduled Now — The quote was accepted in a flow where scheduling is already reflected.
Exact visibility depends on timing and whether the quote is tied to an inspection.
Quick actions and tooltips
Mark Quote Accepted — Confirms acceptance from your side when that action is available.
Mark Quote Rejected — Marks the quote rejected when that action is available.
Menu actions (examples)
Open the quote’s actions menu to find options such as:
Edit Quote
View In Client Portal
Move Back to Pending — Shown when the quote is rejected or archived so you can reopen the workflow.
Send Action — Opens the flow to resend or trigger a configured follow-up (wording may match your automation setup).
Archive Quote — Archives the quote record.
After you change status
The row updates to reflect the new state and chips.
Portal and automation behavior depends on your company’s action flows and templates.
Caveats and common confusion
Hold Active / Hold Expired are time-based; refresh or reopen if something looks out of date.
Send Action is tied to your organization’s configured flows—not every company uses the same templates.
View In Client Portal may show a loading state briefly while the link is prepared.
